Description (Service)
  • Assesses and trains individuals wanting to maintain their driving privileges, return to driving, or learn to drive  
  • Assists individuals to maintain independence in driving, though some may not succeed due to the impairments from a medical condition
Hours Wed, Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Charlton and Dack ; Earlton ; Elk Lake ; Englehart ; Hearst ; Kapuskasing ; Kirkland Lake ; Temiskaming Shores
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
  • Individuals with medical conditions that may affect their ability to drive  
  • Passengers with a disability requiring assistive technology or modifications to the vehicle
Medical conditions may include: 
  • Amputation 
  • Arthritis 
  • Brain Injury 
  • Multiple Sclerosis 
  • Psychiatric Disorder 
  • Spinal Cord Injury 
  • Stroke and other conditions
