Description & Services
Description (Service) Works with individuals to help them achieve employment success
Helps with the following: 
  • Preparing resumes, cover letters, and interview skills 
  • Job search techniques and application assistance 
  • Securing funding for uniforms, work boots etc 
  • Securing funding for specialized training, such as First Aid/CPR or Smart Serve
Offers a wage subsidy program for suitable employers looking to hire participants from the program
Hours Mon-Tue, Thu 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm * Wed 9 am-4 pm * Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-3 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
Individuals must: 
  • Self disclose a disability (medical verification not required) 
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a Social Insurance Number 
  • Not be eligible for Employment Insurance benefits 
  • Be underemployed (working less than 20 hours per week)
