Description (Service) Offers various employment and training services to member First Nation communities  

Funding initiatives include the following: 
  • Apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship 
  • Job opportunities/targeted wage subsidies 
  • Mobility assistance 
  • Self employment assistance 
  • Skills enhancement/direct course purchase and apprenticeship 
  • Youth Work Experience Program
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 12:30 pm-4 pm
Areas Served Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation ; Garden River First Nation ; Mississauga First Nation ; Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation ; Serpent River First Nation
Eligibility Ages: 15 year(s) and up 
First Nation members living on or off reserve who are unemployed, underemployed or require skills development may apply
  • Intake application must be completed, available at office or on website  
  • All applicants must take part in employment counseling prior to being recommended for funding
