Description (Service)
  • Provides a range of mental health services for children and youth and their families 
  • Provides initial intake, screening and referral to appropriate mental health services including children and youth with complex needs 
  • Provides psychological assessments for children and youth experiencing a range of emotional, psychological or behavioural difficulties 
  • Provides psychiatric consultation by videoconference when required 
  • Offers crisis follow-up services 
  • Offers a day camp for youth unable to participate in other camps due to behavioural difficulties
Offers a variety of programs including the following: 
  • 0-6 Mental Health Services 
  • Cognitive Therapy Clinic 
  • Intensive Treatment Services (ITS) 
  • Therapeutic Child and Youth Services
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and under 
Crisis Follow-up Services 
  • Children and youth aged 6-17 years  
  • Assessed as having high risk mental health issues
Application Crisis Follow-up Services 
  • Must be referred from the Sault Area Hospital Crisis Intervention Unit
