Description (Service) Offers a diabetes management and prevention program to assist individuals in understanding and managing their illness and to learn prevention measures 
  • Provides both adult and pediatric services 
  • Offers individual and group educational sessions and health promotion activities 
  • Accepts walk-in patients
Programs and services include: 
  • Basic foot care 
  • Client support groups 
  • Community screening 
  • Cooking classes 
  • Exercise programs 
  • Grocery tours 
  • Presentations to the public and to health care providers 
  • School programs and visits
Program services are provided through: 
  • Dietitian (Adult and Pediatric) 
  • Exercise therapist 
  • Foot care provider 
  • Nurse 
  • Wellness counsellor
