Description (Service)
  • Provides non-perishable food items to individuals in an emergency situation  
  • Includes fresh milk, eggs and bread with each hamper  
  • Offers fresh or frozen meat products which are usually available and fresh produce when in-season  
  • Donations of non-perishable food items and/or cash accepted at main office  
  • Receipts issued for cash donations 
  • Participates as a member of the Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA) of Northwestern Ontario
Hours Intake to book food hamper order: Mon, Wed, Fri 9 am-11:30 am 
Hamper pick-up Mon, Wed, Fri 12 noon-2:30 pm

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
  • All individuals must be registered to access the food bank 
  • Requires completion of intake form 
  • Must present one piece of government issued identification for each person in the household and proof of current address, such as a utility bill or statement
  • Order must be placed via phone with Food Bank in the morning during regular hours; pick-up available in the afternoon of that day 
  • For individuals with no phone access, orders can be placed in person during regular hours in the morning
