Description (Service) Exercise and education for persons living with chronic pain
 
  • Provides a 6-week outpatient program that focuses on skills, coping strategies, support, and education 
  • Provides an interprofessional team to help individuals set goals
 
Note: A less intensive program is available for clients unable to attend the full 6-week program
Hours Mon-Wed 8 am-7 pm, Thu-Fri 8 am-5 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
  • Individuals with chronic pain that interferes with daily activities 
  • Individuals who are ready to learn and practice self-management strategies
Application Physician or Nurse Practitioner referral required
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Available upon request
