  • Consists of 2 settlements: The Dalles 38C with an area of 12.6 sq miles and serves as the main reserve; and Agency 30 which is shared with 12 other First Nations 
  • "Customary Council" system is the Nation's preferred method of governance; a respected head person/speaker is chosen from each of the family groups within the Nation and this group of head people act as governing body for the Nation

Description (Service) Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the First Nation  
  • Serviced by air through the Kenora Airport, located 9 km NE of Kenora  
  • Provides a Community Centre which is a hub for activities and events; available for community members to book for private events  
  • Provides many cultural activities including Pow-wows, community sweats, sharing circles, arts and crafts, and traditional healing and Elders activities  
  • Hosts community feasts, winter carnival, many sports activities such as hockey tournaments and baseball tournaments
