Description (Agency) One Tribe is the income mechanism to support Blue Sky's social mission: to provide cultural and spiritual services, promote inclusivity, facilitate self discovery and self healing, thereby rebuilding community
Description (Service)
  • Provides Indigenous Worldview Training (cultural sensitivity) entitled One Tribe in a factual and interactive way 
  • Inspires self discovery and self healing within individuals
Provides an environment for individuals from all cultures and walks of life to: 
  • Gather 
  • Share Anishnaabe culture and language 
  • Learn traditional teachings and the Spiritual Laws 
  • Earn certificates for workshop participation
Professional workshops are tailored to specific needs and can include but are not limited to: 
  • Anishinaabe Cultural Practices 
  • Economic and Holistic Benefits of Working with the Indigenous Community 
  • Introduction to the Indigenous Community 
  • Land Use Planning Then and Now 
  • Medicine Walk (plant identification, harvesting and uses)  
  • Overview of Ancient First Peoples and Archaeology in Northern Ontario 
  • Ralph Rowe Overcomers (personal story)  
  • Residential School System and Unfamiliar Impacts (personal story)  
  • Truth About Treaties: Before, During, After, Now (new)
