Description (Service) Provides a wide variety of services and loans out various items including the following:  
  • Books, magazines, and audio-visual material (DVDs, CDs, audio books), genealogy collection, periodicals, video games 
  • Faxing, photocopying, scanning and printing of documents 
  • Internet and wireless access 
  • Home services and services to institutions  
  • Information service 
  • Material available through inter-library loan 
  • Reference and research help 
  • Meeting rooms for public use
Community Access Program 
  • Provides individuals with public access to the Internet and the skills they need to use it effectively 
  • Offers basic computer training  
  • Provides access and education for electronic government services
Hours Summer: Mon-Tue, Thu 10 am-5 pm * Wed 1 pm-8 pm * Fri 10 am-5 pm 
Winter: Mon 2:30 pm-5 pm * Wed, Fri 6 pm-8:30 pm * Sat 10 am-12:30 pm
Areas Served Algoma District
  • Must have library card to borrow materials 
  • Children 12 and younger must have parental supervision when using the Internet  
  • Children 12-16 must have parental permission to use the Internet, but do not need supervision
  • Membership: Complete an application form to obtain a library card  
  • Photo identification required
