Description (Service)
  • Functions as a community service club  
  • Raises money to support work with children including education needs and health needs, especially for physically challenged children
Sponsors local programs including: 
  • Rainy River District Music Festival 
  • Fort Frances and Rainy River High School graduating students with bursaries 
  • Robert Moore Breakfast Program 
  • Summer reading program at Fort Frances Library 
  • Rachel's Challenge, an anti-bullying program 
  • Meals on Wheels 
  • Fort Frances Air Cadets
Community service initiatives include: 
  • Sponsors 10 families through the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper Program 
  • Provides financial support to the District 4H Club 
  • Holds various raffles throughout the year, including the current "Trip of the Month" tickets  
  • Coordinates community bingo events 
  • Holds eBay auctions 
  • Subsidizes children's summer camps staying at Sunny Cove Camp
