Description (Service)
  • Assists individuals and families in their residence with routine household activities such as light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, meal preparation and personal care 
  • Provides household support for heavy and seasonal housecleaning 
  • Acts as respite for caregivers 
  • Provides short-term loan of mobility aids such as walkers and raised toilet seats
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Members of Rainy River First Nation who require assistance due to age or medical reasons to enable them to remain in own home
  • Open to referrals from any source 
  • Assessment required to determine needs 
  • Mobility aids loaned on first-come short-term basis
