Doctor is not available on a regular basis; this clinic is mainly staffed by Nurses
Description (Service) Nursing station providing basic medical and health care services that promote physical and mental health for community members  
  • Coordinates health care services through the Health Centre; health team consists of Community Health Nurses and Representatives, a visiting Physician and Crisis Team workers 
  • Provides health awareness and counselling, education and prevention workshops/clinics in areas that may include Child Care, Diabetes, Elderly & Chronic Disease, Immunization, Sexual Health and Communicable Diseases
Addresses individual health care needs by providing: 
  • Access to primary nursing health care  
  • Home visits and referrals  
  • Postnatal care  
  • dietitian counselling on healthy eating habits and lifestyles 
  • Regular visits from professionals such as doctors and nurse practitioners 
  • Walk-In clinic
