Public Comments The shelter is not able to make accommodations for males 16 years of age and older. If a woman has a male child who does not qualify for admission can speak to a staff person for possible options. 
If a woman is single, she may need to share a bedroom with another single woman. 
Families will stay in the same room together. 
If the shelter is at capacity, referrals will be made to other area shelters until room becomes available. Transportation to another shelter will be provided.
Description (Service)
  • Offers a 20 bed shelter for women and their children 
  • Maintains 11 bedrooms including two larger bedrooms and an accessible bedroom 
  • Offers a laundry room, a kitchen, a playroom, and a dining room 
  • Provides support and crisis counselling as well as safety planning 
  • Assists women with searching for housing 
  • Provides emergency transportation if needed to get an individual safely to the shelter for admission
