Robinson Huron Treaty
Description (Service) Offers healing, employment and training supports to men and women who have experienced or are at-risk of violence 
  • Delivers training sessions and workshops to empower individuals to achieve higher levels of training, education, or employment on the journey to economic independence 
  • Creates an individualized work and training plan tailored to participant's needs 
  • Promotes district-wide awareness and sensitivity to the barriers faced by individuals who experience violence
Offers the following: 
  • ABC Approach to Healing Your Life: Acknowledging your Past, Believe in Yourself, and Create your Future 
  • Computer and Numeracy Skills: Microsoft Suite, and Numeracy Skills 
  • Empowering Paths Program Supports: Peer Support withing Warming Centre linking individuals with community services, and giving men in community an opportunity to experience True Self's holistic healing approaches 
  • True Paths: Offers men and women in outlying communities an opportunity to experience True Self's Holistic healing approaches and to empower individuals to move forward with education and employment goals

  • Walking the Medicine Wheel with our Personal Finances
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
True Path: Mattawa - Tue 10 am - 4 pm * Sturgeons Falls - Thu 10 am to 4 pm

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
  • Men and women at risk/or a survivor of violence 
  • Must have a fixed address or reside in a women's shelter within the District of Nipissing 
  • Employed, unemployed or underemployed
