Description (Service)
  • Provides services and programs to support pregnant women and families with infants and young children 
  • Provides awareness and education in efforts to decrease teen pregnancy and to help youth make healthy reproductive choices
Services offered can include: 
  • Community education 
  • Community Health Nurse services 
  • Home visits 
  • Parenting classes 
  • Parenting support group 
  • Partner in Parenting regular visits 
  • Prenatal and postnatal information
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm
Areas Served Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation ; Sheguiandah ; Sheshegwaning ; Whitefish River First Nation ; Zhiibaahaasing First Nation
  • Must be an expectant mother or parent of a young child 0-6 years of age 
  • Must be a member of one of the participating First Nations
  • Referral is required; visit website 
  • Registration can be done with Maternal and Child Health Nurse or with Community Health Nurse at local community Health Centre
