  • Provides culturally appropriate services in partnership with NeChee Friendship Centre for individuals to meet their employment goals 
  • Works with employers to assist in securing suitable employees for their vacant positions 
  • Provides a comprehensive resource centre with computers, job boards, labour market information and education/training resources
Offers the following services for job seekers: 
  • Career exploration 
  • Employment counselling 
  • Job search support 
  • Online training certification 
  • Resume and cover letter writing guidance 
  • Self-marketing tips 
  • Training action plan development
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Boundaries Includes all First Nation individuals living in the Kenora District Treaty #3 territory
Eligibility Ages: 15 year(s) - 65 year(s) 
  • Must be a member of a Treaty #3 First Nation 
  • Contact local or head office to determine financial assistance eligibility
NOTE: Can assist non Treaty #3 members to access funding from other First Nations or service providers
  • Intake assessment and completed application required 
  • Application available at office or on website  
  • Open to referrals from any source
