Description & Services
Description (Service) Offers following services primarily in the home for families of infants and children who may be at risk of developmental delay:  
  • Behavioral, developmental, emotional and social assessments and screening  
  • Recommendations based on results of screening  
  • Education and information about development and parenting  
  • Referrals to other services providers  
  • Information and educational sessions through parenting courses and workshops, a resource library and a parent support group
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm  
Flexible evening and weekend appointments available to meet families needs
Areas Served Kenora
Boundaries Includes surrounding First Nation communities which are road-accessible
  • Infants and children 0-6 years of age (and their families) who may be at-risk of a developmental delay due to family history or other medical issues 
  • Must reside in Kenora or in surrounding, road-accessible First Nation community
  • Support does not require a medical diagnosis  
  • Requires initial intake assessment
