Description (Service) Functions as a community health clinic 
  • Provides primary care and emergency services 
  • Offers the services of visiting Physicians and on-site Registered Nurses 
  • Coordinates arrangements for Dental Clinic 
  • Arranges for air ambulance transfers to larger centres for emergency/surgical services  
  • Receives services of James Bay Ambulance Services (JBAS) 
  • Provides English/Cree translation and interpretation services
Offers primary health care including but not limited to:  
  • Chronic disease management  
  • Health promotion  
  • Disease prevention  
  • Nutritional counselling  
  • Mental health counselling
Weeneebayko Area Health Authority also provides the maintenance, supplies and equipment to support the operations of the Health Centre through contribution agreements with Health Canada
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm 
Emergencies: Mon-Sun 24 hours
