Description (Service)
  • Provides services that promote physical and mental health for community members 
  • Coordinates health services through 2 Nurses, a Community Health Representative and a Referral Clerk 
  • Coordinates Physician support which is provided through Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) on a rotating basis 
  • Provides health awareness, education and prevention workshops and seminars  
  • Coordinates clinics in areas including Blood Pressure, Immunization, Sexual Health and Communicable Diseases  
  • Offers basic foot care sessions in individual's home or at clinic  
  • Coordinates consultations with visiting dentists and optometrists every 6 months for 3-5 day visits 
  • Provides mental health counselling
