Description (Service) Represents the community in all land use initiatives with a focus on the preservation of traditional lands 
  • Liaises with companies undertaking resource development in traditional Kasabonika Lake First Nation territory including mining developments, forestry projects and hydro electric power projects 
  • Acts as the liaison and maintains all documentation between community members, governments and the Ministry of Natural Resources on all land issues 
  • Participates in negotiations and agreements with resource developers and governments to ensure Kasabonika Lake First Nation traditional lands and burial sites are protected 
  • Works with other Band departments for allocation of land to registered community members who wish to build a home or cabin on territorial land
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm
