Description (Service)
  • Functions as a service club that supports community projects and individuals in need through volunteerism and fundraising 
  • Provides financial assistance locally and internationally for vision, hearing and diabetes problems and guide dogs for sight impairments 
  • Offers 3 bursaries to graduating Grade 8 students of Vermilion Bay or Dryden 
  • Offers 2 bursaries to graduating high school students of Vermilion Bay and Dryden 
  • Sponsors Air Cadets and offers 2 bursaries for students enrolled in Air Cadets 
  • Offers volunteer opportunities for Vermilion Bay and Dryden high school students 
  • Collects unneeded eyeglasses for donating to Lions Eye Bank
Medical Equipment 
  • Provides loans of medical equipment 
  • Equipment includes 3 power wheelchairs, 1 hospital bed, walkers and smaller aids
