  • Provides three main treatment options for cancer: chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery 
  • Participates in clinical cancer research 
  • Manages the oncology in-patient unit
Clinical Trials 
  • Identifies therapies which will surpass current treatment options 
  • Provides the opportunity to participate in clinical research
Palliative Care 
  • Enhances quality of life through pain and symptom control 
  • Provides emotional and spiritual support
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Algoma District ; Sault Ste. Marie
  • Medical referral is necessary 
  • Must have a valid Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) Card
Application Referral from physician is required
Languages English ; French - Staff members - subject to availability ; Interpretive Services - Available upon request
