  • Operates as an accredited expanded level Assistive Devices Program clinic for augmentative and alternative communication 
  • Provides assessment, consultation, intervention and training in the development of functional face-to-face and written communication

Eligibility Ages: 21 year(s) and up 
For face-to-face communication individuals: 
  • Adults who live in the Manitoulin/Sudbury region
Adult individuals for writing aids: 
  • Must live in Northeastern Ontario
  • Physician's or nurse practitioner referral required 
  • Referral by parents, educators, or therapists must be accompanied by a physician's referral

Fees Service - Prescribed equipment ; None - Assistive Communication Clinic services ; Fee assistance available for prescribed equipment ; assistance is provided by Assistive Devices Program.
