  • Community consists of 2 reserves, Constance Lake 92 Indian Reserve on the Kabinakagami River (main reserve) with a land area of approx 12 sq miles, and English River 66 Indian Reserve on the Kenogami River, also with a land area of approx 12 sq miles 
  • The main reserve land includes all of Constance Lake

  • Offers a full service community and several locally owned businesses including Amik Logging Inc, Lecours Lumber, Mahiihkanuk Construction Ltd and Weekoban Trucking Inc 
  • Offers a privately-operated JG Grocery Store stocked with fresh produce and meat; ships fresh food to nearby communities 
  • Serviced by air with Hearst Air through Carey Lake airport, located a 10-minute drive from Constance Lake community 
  • Awarded the 2014 Community Innovation Housing Award at the 12th Annual First Nations Housing Conference 
  • Participates in the Junior Canadian Rangers Program for youth (12-18 years) which teaches various skills including but not limited to first aid, using rifles safely, hunting and fishing, Native customs and traditions, healthy living, staying in school and drug and alcohol abuse awareness
