Description (Service) Functions as a science and technology centre that offers a variety of programs to individuals of all ages
 
Offers the following programs: 
Outreach Programs 
  • Offers various activities for individuals to gain a greater understanding of science 
  • Provides opportunities to explore and apply science in the real world 
  • Operates the Science Mobile that provides programs in remote areas of Northeastern Ontario and First Nations Communities
 
Competitive Programs 
  • Provides opportunities for individuals or groups to enter into competitions that may involve planning an experiment, conducting research, solving a problem, or inventing or designing an apparatus
 
Support Programs 
  • Facilitates the exploration of science 
  • Provides support to educators, parents, or other adults who run science programs through forums, guest speakers, and workshops
Hours Tue-Fri 9 am-5 pm, Sat-Sun 10 am-4 pm
