Public Comments Hospital can be reached by mail via 2 postal addresses: Box 34 and Box 664
Description (Service) Provides health services with traditional and cultural healing options 
  • Focuses on a foundation known as "Myipimaatisim" in Cree, which means choosing a healthy life focusing on the mind, body and spirit 
  • Conducts ceremonies and counselling sessions through Traditional Healers (over 25 registered Traditional Healers) and counselors who travel to each community of the Weeneebayko region
Services and programs include: 
  • Counseling for individuals, youth, couples, families and community groups 
  • Debriefing  
  • Grief and crisis counseling 
  • Healing/talking circles 
  • Medicine (traditional herbs) 
  • Rites of Passage Services  
  • Sweat Lodge and Pipe Ceremonies 
  • Seasonal ceremonies (fasting and Sundance) 
  • Traditional Doctoring
