  • Works to minimize the impact of family violence on a child 
  • Organizes both a children's group and a mother's group 
  • Teaches individuals how to protect themselves in a violent situation 
  • Develops safety plans 
  • Educates about violence against women 
  • Provides assistance with transportation and child care

Application Referrals are accepted from hospitals, Provincial Police, Victim/Witness Assistance Program (WWAP) and Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS) and other community agencies
