Description (Service) Promotes the development of good mental health and provides services for individuals with mental health issues to enrich their quality of life
Provides information and awareness activities including but not limited to:  
  • Depression  
  • Family violence  
  • Stress management
Services include:  
  • Client advocacy and liaison with other services/agencies 
  • Counselling services for stress management and crisis intervention 
  • Consultations with a visiting psychologist once per week 
  • Prevention services and programs  
  • Referrals to appropriate supports
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Members of Wasauksing First Nation experiencing mental health issues
  • Requires booked appointments 
  • Call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel appointment with visiting Psychologist
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Ojibway, available upon request
