Description (Service) Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the First Nation 
  • Provides a community complex for meetings and gatherings which also houses the Administration offices 
  • Provides religious facilities, restaurants and gas bar services to community members 
  • Provides a baseball field and roofed outdoor rink 
  • Hosts annual events including a walleye derby, a baseball tournament and community Powwow 
  • Produces the "Mattagami First Nation Drum" magazine, as well as a monthly community newsletter "Drumbeat News" available in print and online
