Description (Service)
  • Assists seniors and individuals with disabilities to live independently in the community through the provision of nourishing meals at a reasonable cost  
  • Prepares meals according to individuals' diet requirements  
  • Provides a choice of lunch and/or supper for up to 6 meals per week  
  • Meals are delivered by volunteers who provide regular social contact and check on the health and safety of the client
Hours Mon-Thu 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm 
Meals for Wed-Fri: delivered Tue afternoon

Eligibility Members of Brunswick House First Nation or other First Nation members residing in the community requiring assistance with meals at home due to age, disability, illness or injury
  • Meals are provided for lunch and/or supper for Wed/Thu/Fri 
  • Completion of initial application required  
  • Meals can be pre-ordered Mon and Tue morning  
  • Cancellation recommended and appreciated at least 12 hours in advance
