Description (Service) Develops and initiates health promotion and prevention programs for community members 
  • Offers programs to enhance the social, physical, mental and spiritual well-being of families 
  • Hosts presentations on health issues such as (but not limited to) cancer awareness, diabetes awareness, self-care, healthy heart awareness, food safety and HIV/AIDS 
  • Provides monthly information sessions on a variety of women's and men's health issues
Programs/Services offered may include: 
  • Anger management 
  • Family and community social events such as potlucks 
  • Family violence 
  • Parenting groups 
  • Self-esteem workshops 
  • Substance abuse prevention 
  • Suicide prevention
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm
