Description (Service) Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements for community members 
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community  
  • Provides transportation from/to Batchewana First Nation Reserves to medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist, specialist) in Sault Ste Marie and other communities 
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

Summer Office Mon-Fri 8 am-12 noon, 12:30 pm-4:15 pm * Fri 8 am-12 noon Jul-Aug

  • Requires written proof of medical appointment  
  • Requires at least one week advance booking, prefers two weeks notice; exceptions made for emergencies
