Description (Service) Offers awareness and outreach programs to meet the health needs of community members
Programs and services include: 

Women's Wellness Clinics 
Provides monthly information sessions on a variety of women's health issues such as menopause
Men's Wellness Seminars 
Addresses men's health issues through monthly seminars
Community Health Presentations 
Hosts presentations on health issues such as (but not limited to) cancer awareness, diabetes awareness, self-care, healthy heart awareness, food safety and HIV/AIDS 

Active Living 
Coordinates activities such as aerobic exercise, yoga and dance classes, tai chi, zumba and walking and exercise programs
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm Sep-May  
Mon-Fri 8 am-12 noon, 12:30 pm-4:15 pm Jun-Aug

  • Members of Garden River First Nation living on the reserve 
  • Programs and services may be extended to others based on resources available and/or program/service guidelines
