  • Serves learners who may have a range of barriers to learning 
  • As a program within the Native stream, Niin Sakaan Skills Development provides culturally appropriate learning for our Indigenous community members seeking to increase their skills
Description (Service)
  • Provides literacy and basic skills training, including numeracy, digital, communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Helps learners prepare for employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education and greater independence
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Classes Mon-Fri 9 am-3 pm 
Evening/weekend appointments available upon request 
Evening/weekend programs may be offered when available

  • Ontario residents 19 years and older, with reading, writing and math skills below Grade 12 of the Ontario Curriculum
